Meet Jonathan: The Newest Member of Our New Orleans BXF Training Team!
One of the best parts of growing our gym community here in New Orleans is being able to bring in great people—trainers who not only have knowledge and experience, but who genuinely care about helping others become stronger, healthier, and more confident..
That’s why we’re excited to introduce Jonathan Falgout, the newest member of our Body By Ford team!
Jonathan brings more than two decades of experience in client relations, along with a highly personalized approach to training. As a certified personal trainer and certified nutrition coach, he is passionate about helping clients develop strength, confidence, and a positive relationship with fitness.
He enjoys working with people of all backgrounds and experience levels, taking the time to understand where each client is starting and tailoring training to their individual goals and abilities.
Jonathan is an avid runner, but running isn't his only passion when it comes to movement. He also enjoys cycling, swimming, yoga, and strength training.
That variety is an important part of how he approaches fitness.
Jonathan believes that incorporating different types of movement is key to building a strong, balanced, and sustainable fitness routine. Rather than feeling like exercise has to look a certain way, he encourages clients to find activities they enjoy while developing the strength, mobility, endurance, and confidence to keep moving for the long term.
That philosophy fits right in with our approach to personal training. Fitness should support your life—not take it over—and the best routine is one you can enjoy and sustain.
When we asked Jonathan about his favorite exercise, his answer was simple:
The plank.
His reasoning?
“Building a strong core creates the foundation for everything else we do.”
The core plays an important role in so many of the movements we perform, both inside and outside the gym. A strong, stable core can help support everything from strength training and running to everyday activities.
And while the plank might look simple, anyone who has held a good one knows that simple doesn't necessarily mean easy!
The Best Part of Training
For Jonathan, one of the best parts of being a trainer is seeing clients discover that fitness can actually be something they enjoy.
His favorite part of training is:
“Seeing clients enjoy their workouts and realize fitness can be challenging, fun, and sustainable.”
We love this perspective because it gets to the heart of what we're trying to create for our clients.
Exercise should challenge you, but it shouldn't feel like punishment. It should help you feel stronger and more capable while giving you a sense of accomplishment along the way. And ideally, it should become something you look forward to—not something you constantly have to force yourself to do.
Jonathan’s goal is to help clients find that balance and create a relationship with fitness that can last.
We couldn’t agree more!
